I started researching how people receive mental health support in the UK and was shocked at what I discovered. According to Mind, only 1 in 6 people with severe mental health conditions receive treatment.

One of those seven people not receiving treatment was my relative. I want this to change. And this is why I gathered a group of tech experts and qualified therapists early in 2020 to discuss how we might provide an ongoing, always-on platform for people who need help: 24/7, 365 days a year, using the technology already in their pocket.

Mental health services are failing most people who need therapeutic support.

The Opportunity

As SupportRoom continues to grow, so does our operation globally! We are seeking a passionate, outgoing and committed Marketing/Design Executive. Their responsibility will be to understand trends and patterns and use the data to determine
the appropriate course of action to increase engagement and other analytics. On the creative end, they will write and edit, copy, manage and operate social media and develop multimedia content.

drive. Here’s where you will begin…


  • Identify, recommend, and manage promotional events.
  • Be heavily involved on internal update and planning meetings for the Marketing Team,
    ensuring that all other parties are clearly briefed on ongoing activities.
  • Plan the overall marketing strategy.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Sales team to identify new opportunities.
  • Be heavily involved in the pricing analysis, making sure we are competitive across all
    product categories.
  • Execute SupportRoom new website updates, content creation and optimisation.
  • Drive cost and efficiency improvements by continuously improving the end-to-end
    marketing process to ensure on-time and effective delivery.
  • Contribute to content calendar in response to relevant Marketing Plans and own
    appropriate content.
  • Create agreed digital content.
  • Management of all website and social channels content updates.
  • Management of Social Media channels: Enter, create, curate, post, and monitor content in
    line with marketing objectives, ABM, and sales target accounts.
  • Performance monitoring and analysis of Social Media Channels, Websites, and
    competitive set. Manage KPIs, measure ROI and propose short vs. long term actions.
  • Engage in social listening to identify and report on trends.

Skills, Knowledge And Experience

  • Able to take responsibility for effective and timely delivery of high quality and complex work. Ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Able to manage and handle competing demands within a varied and changing workload, using initiative to plan, organise, prioritise and recognise when to escalate risks.
  • Have strong attention to detail and accuracy and take pride in making sure your work is of the appropriate quality.
  • Able to work on a range of systems; inputting data accurately and generating documentation.
  • Reliable and accurate record-keeping and filing, and ability to use databases.
  • Able to work independently; demonstrating flexibility and adaptability and supporting a culture of collaboration and trust.
  • Demonstrate a working understanding of wellness and people space.
  • Able to provide accurate and effective feedback to others on completed work in a timely manner. Informing their line manager about any recurring issues and/or causes for concern.
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to represent the Team’s position on a range of subject areas.
  • Able to build and maintain effective working relationships; sharing ideas, information and knowledge to support collaborative working between colleagues.

You will have…

  • 3 years+ proven previous experience in marketing role.
  • Experience in the tech & wellbeing industries.
  • Experience of effective cross functional working
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and pressurised environment, with experience in
    managing multiple projects at any one time.
  • Proactive attitude with a motivation to challenge the status quo and propose new
    creative ideas.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Good written communication skills. Previous copy writing experience required.
  • Good verbal presentation skills, with experience presenting to groups.
  • Good influencing skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to analyse customer insight to inform decision making.
  • Ability to use Adobe Packages.
  • All in all extensive experience in: organic, social, Hubspot, design & data.
